Class Evaluation
Some things I liked about computer class was that we were learning to type without looking at the keyboard. I also liked that we got to learn the experiences of other people when they chose the wrong one. I also liked that every day we came to computer class and learned to be a CTR person. Another thing I liked about the class is that we always write a reflection and that makes me feel good because I know I'm saying the right thing.
There are very few things I do not like in this class, for example I would like that when we finish doing the work that the teacher gives us, we can do what we want but stay in our seats. But no, we finished and we are just sitting bored waiting for the other ends so that the teacher gives us another job or change the subject.
One of the recommendations that I must carry out to have a good grade and improve in class as much as being good at writing in computer and being good student of the class, also to fulfill the works of the class. In short, be a CTR person every day.
The highlight for me in this class was when I try to get 100% typing tutor because almost nobody can reach 100% and I get 99% that was my highlight.
I'm reading my life planning goals journal even for only 5 minutes and I'm also putting them where they should be.

Another
”When you tell one lie, it leads to another”
By Paul Hatch
This statement means that when you lie you always lead to another lie and you continue to make worse what it really is or what happened, it is easier to tell the truth so that the problem is over or so you always feel good about telling the truth. Many people find it easier to lie but more difficult to deal with the problem they caused by telling lies. When you tell the truth you feel good and you do not continue telling a lie after another lie. Every lie has its reward as telling the truth also has it.

The sting of the scorpion
This is one of the lessons that can happen our life, if you do not do the right thing to face problems and nobody wants that, then choose the right and obtain success and not the consequences. The video shows that the boy did not listen to his parents and I faced a big problem because that was the result of not doing the right thing. He prefers to wear sandals to be comfortable with his shoes, but that place is dangerous for any visitor who is not prepared for it.
Right
“Always do Right”.
                                                                                By Mark Twain
This statement means that one of the things we should always do is the right thing, everyone who does the right things is the good people, good people are the ones who apply everything good in their lives, whatever it is that only acts To do it right. Many people do not do the right thing and look like bad people, that's why it's important to do the right thing to be good people.

“World War II

What are the dates for WW II ?
  • The dates for WW II are September 1, 1939 - September 2, 1945

What countries fought against whom in WWII ?
  • World War 2 was fought between two groups of countries. On one side were the Axis Powers, including Germany, Italy and Japan. On the other side were the Allies. They included Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, China and the United States of America.
  • Germany was ruled by Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party. Hitler wanted Germany to control Europe. Japan wanted to control Asia and the Pacific. In 1937 Japan attacked China. In 1939 Germany invaded Poland. This is how World War 2 began.
  • Some countries did not join the war, but stayed neutral (on either side). Spain, Sweden and Switzerland were neutral countries. So was Ireland, though many Irish people helped the Allies.
Name  and describe a few events that happened during WW II :

  • 1942 Following the US entering the war, the mobilization of war was quick and effective with car makers and other manufacturers changing to production of weapons of war. Bing Crosby "White Christmas" from Bing Crosby first appeared in the movie "Holiday Inn". The US sentiment towards Japanese following Pearl Harbor showed itself when 120,000 people of Japanese descent were sent TO internment camps. Guam, Hong Kong, Wake, Singapore and the Philippines, but in late 1942 the US began to turn round the war with major offenses at Midway and The Coral Sea. And meanwhile the allied forces in Europe invaded North Africa in November.

The 3 Questions

                                                     Lou Holtz

1.Can people trust me to do what’s right?
2. Am i committed to doing my very best?
3. Do i treat people the way i want to be treated?

Yes, people can trust me even if they do not know me but they will not want to trust me because they do not see me, I have to prove them first so they can look and trust me,and of course I'm committed to putting my selves So that everything goes well and try not to defraud those who already trust in me and that more people trust in me.  I also want to be treated as I treat them, because I will not want a bad treatment of people when in fact I treat them well, it can also be the opposite but I am not like that.
Challenges Teens Face Today

The several of the major challenges teens deal with today:
  • Teen Suicide
  • Cyber bullying & Bullying at School
  • Internet & Online Addiction
  • Teens & Sex: The Hookup Culture
  • Teen & Substance Abuse

  • Eating Disorders
  • Violent Video Games
  • Teenagers Watching Porn
  • Violence on TV
  • Violence at Home
  • Violent Culture
One major challenge i was dealing with today :
  • Internet  & online addiction
I use my cell phone a lot in class and since I wake up.
Digital natives prefer to text rather than talk on the phone. They do not listen or leave voice mails, and prefer to socialize on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram rather than on the playground or at the town square.

.I would tell them “You are going to fail school if you keep this up.”

Physical Fitness

Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex.Much  is not yet understood. But we do know what  the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity  when the body is healthy and strong.

                                           President John F. Kennedy
This statement means that intelligence and ability are better than having physical fitness, and as long as you have the skills and intelligence no matter the physical fitness, it is better to have the maximum point of an ability to have the body healthy and strong.

“Kindness is the essence of greatness”

                                                            Joseph B. Wirthlin

This statement means that when you are kind to all things you are great in life, you are a person who never has a grudge against anything, resentment does not lead to anything good, you will only have envy and you will be clinging to it.
When you have goodness in your person, you are great because many only have evil in their person, evil is the opposite of goodness, it is better to be a kind person and not a bad person, most of the great are in the goodness of a Person, that's why it's better to be a kind person to be someone in life.

Thanksgiving Week
Thanksgiving day I went to my grandmother's house to celebrate with my family, my mom served me food, we waited for everyone to be at the table and my grandmother began to bless food and give thanks to God for everything Which he gave us. Of course we ate turkey and ham, and some other things like potatoes and macaroni in cheese.
After dinner we ate pumpkin pie and watched a classic football game, said goodbye to my grandparents and went to rest.
On the following morning I went to buy with my dad a sweater I wanted, we returned home and then I got ready to go to train baseball with my brothers.
Before Thanksgiving I did my homework, on Monday I had a football game and in the morning I came to school to practice baseball with the team. I would come tired to my house and I would watch TV or play video games.

Don’t do it Don’t say it
“If it is not right, do not do it; if it is not true, do not say it.”

                                                    By Marcus Aurelius

The statement explains that they do not do things that are not right and do not say things that are not true. For example if you hear a rumor about someone you know is not true do not go around separating the rumor. Even if you do not know if the rumor is true or not, do not go around scattering it. If you know something is not right do not do it. Do not be tempted to do what is not right. If you do not want rumors spread about you, then do not say what is not true. If you see other people cheating on a test they pass around a paper with the answers and offer if you want to copy just say no. Tell them that it is not the right thing to do and to continue to do the best they can in the test because you will be doing the right thing and you will feel good about being rejected something that does not fit you.
Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is celebrated the fourth Thursday of November. It is one that brings together families and friends to share, give thanks and enjoy typical foods of this party, such as turkey and pumpkin candy. The story goes that the first Thanksgiving in the United States was a three day celebration in the Plymouth Colony today is part of the state of Massachusetts in the year 1621.The settlers had arrived the previous year and did not have enough food and it was already late to sow crops. Half of the colony stayed during the winter of 1620-1621, in the spring, indigenous people in the area taught the settlers to plant corn and other crops, and helped them to hunt and fish. In the autumn of 1621, the colonists obtained excellent harvests and in gratitude, they invited the Indians to share a feast. The celebration of this harvest became a habitual activity. The day of thanksgiving was celebrated on different dates, until the year 1863 President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed that the last Thursday of November is being celebrated as a national holiday of Thanksgiving. Then, in 1941, President Franklin Roosevelt passed a law establishing the holiday date for the fourth Thursday of November.
One of the experiences I had in Thanksgiving was when all my family met to eat all together and share moments of joy, I remember that day my parents prepared delicious meals and we all liked, champurrado, tamales, The typical turkey and the ham on the table.I had a good time with my family.

“Doing what is right, fair and honorable is more                         important than winning or losing.”

                                                    By Chick Moorman

This statement explains that winning or losing is not the most important thing in the world. If you want to join a competition I do not think winning is more important than being honorable. If you win, but cheated, you will not even count. If you end up losing but do not cheat, then you know you tried the best, but you'll try it better next time. In all the sports of the world and all the people who carry out that sport their highest priority is to win honors, but if you are not honorable, there is no need to win because you should always put honesty in a game and not only in sports, sometimes in Personal cases, if you do the right thing or say the right thing you are an honorable person.

Honesty
                      “Honesty is the best policy”

                                               By Mark Twain
Honesty is one of the best things you can present in your life wherever you are, whatever you are doing, for example in a soccer game I always put honesty in the game because you look good other people like you You are honest with the players and with the referee, it is mainly with the referee with whom you must be because sometimes he does not realize or could not see the play and marks something else and you have to be honest in that part, to be honest is Rather tell the truth and is to choose the right thing.
Veterans Day
Since 1919 is commemorated this day, Veterans Day is the date on which the nation honors the veterans of their country for their patriotism, love of the country and the will to sacrifice for the common good.
Veterans Day is a celebration that takes place in the United States every November 11, and is the date when the nation honors veterans, parades, ceremonies  and honors are held in honor of those who served and served in the US Armed Forces. Many people visit cemeteries to leave flowers to those who gave their lives for their country. Political speeches are also of great importance in every state of the country.
To give an idea of the importance of this celebration, it is worth noting that up to 2011 there were 21.5 million veterans and of them 1.6 million are women.

Integrity
“1.Have the courage to say no.
2.Have the courage to face the truth.
3.Do the right thing because it is right.
These are the 3 magic keys to living your life with                   integrity.”
W.Clement Stone

The statement explains that having integrity means that you do the right thing because it’s right. If you don’t want want to do something then have the courage to say no. If you are asked to take a sip of beer have the courage to say no and walk away. If you give in to the temptation and get caught have the courage and face the truth. Although having integrity means doing the right thing because it’s the right thing. If you cheat on test do the right thing and tell the teacher you cheated, or think before you decide to cheat. Cheating won’t help you and if you knew you didn’t understand the subject you were taking the test on you should have studied or asked your teacher for help. If someone wants to copy your homework/classwork have the courage to say no. It’ll help them and you won’t get in trouble because you know you're doing the right thing. And at the same time you are helping that person to be independent and learn to do their work without help from anyone, this is how you can help the people who ask for your work.

Shall be Wise
“He that walketh with wise man shall be wise; but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”

The statement “ He that walketh with wise man shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed” this explains that a person who hangs out with the wrong crowd will get into trouble. A person who hangs out with the right crowd will not get in trouble and might even succeed in life. If you have friends who do drugs, don’t go to school and get into a lot of trouble will end up getting you in trouble if you do those stuff or not. Hanging around those people will tempt you to do stuff you are not suppose to do which can get you arrested. Having bad influences can also not lead you to not graduating high school because if they decide to ditch most of the time and you go along with them will make you miss what you are learning in school. Or maybe they are distracting you in class while you are trying to learn. Although if you chose a group of friends who are scholar students they maybe what they do will encourage you to do better. Maybe they can help you study for a quiz or help you with your homework. Good influences almost never lead you into trouble, always lead you to success and there you realize that the good influences are better.

"The best recreation is to do good."

                                                             -William Penn

I agree with William Penn that doing good can solve every problem. You will never do anything wrong if you always choose to do what is right! You will not ever struggle or have difficulties in life if you always do what is right no matter what. I think that this goes for everything in life really, even if you make mistakes, if you choose to do what is right and learn from them, your life will improve because you will not make that mistake again. If you have a very difficult decision to make, doing what is right will help you make that decision. If you want to watch T.V but you cannot until you do your chores then you should do what is right and do your chores. It is not difficult to do what is right when you know what is the right thing to do.

Always
“Right is right, even if everyone is against it; and wrong is wrong even if everyone is for it.”
                                                                      -William Penn

The statement “Right is right, even if everyone is against it; and wrong is wrong even if everyone is for it.” explains that if you stand alone right is still right. Going to a party and everyone is doing drugs it is still wrong and you shouldn’t do. Even if everyone says oh no drugs aren’t bad you shouldn’t try them because drugs are wrong. If everyone is cheating on a test then you should be the only one not to cheat. Wrong is wrong, even if everyone is against it. If everyone believes they are doing the right thing but you believe they are doing the wrong thing then do the right thing.

“Don’t sacrifice what you want most for what you want now. Write down what you want                           most and see it often.”

                                                              By  Peter Vidmar
The statement “Don’t sacrifice what you want most for what you want now. Write down what you want most and see it often.” explains that you should not stop trying to get your most wanted goal for something that you want at the moment. If you want straight A’s all semester and you have homework to do but you really want to go to practice, you don’t practice that day and finish your homework. If you decide to practice you won’t end up doing your homework which will cause your grade to lower. This will then become a habit and it won't help you complete your goal. If you want to go on a diet but then you get tempted to get a brownie don’t make the sacrifice because it won’t help you get what you most want. Such as Peter Vidmar he didn’t let anything stop him from getting what he most wanted. He may have had many moments where he wanted to sacrifice what he most wanted for something he wanted at the moment but he didn’t.
